I have finished my website mockups that reflect the brand I created and so today we will start transferring the design I made to the actual website! It’s so exciting!
I’ve used Divi before but I don’t want to mess up the website or get stuck while I’m doing it outside of the office, so I decided to do it together with David so he can help and oversee the changes. We spent most of the morning fine-tuning the details of the new webpage layouts. David doing the actual changing and I sat back and directed the changes + learned some new capabilities of Divi. It feels very good to have a professional site to say that I was a big part of. I’ll definitely be showing it off in my portfolio!
I really appreciated David’s humility in listening to my ideas and implementing most of them. I enjoyed being treated as a professional, not just a lowly intern. Sandhill Media definitely makes me feel like more than I am. They trust my opinions and graphic design knowledge. They teach me the technical details to make things work well and me to know how to best conquer the interviewing process etc. This company has excellent quality of work and people in my book.
**I’ll post screenshots of the web pages tomorrow. we didn’t quite finish today.
