I finished my magazine ads, started on another set of magazine ads, got further on my brand book, and started learning more about Adobe XD. I got my 107.1 magazine ads approved by the client with a few edits. That felt very good. So I sent them off and started creating for another station. Shouldn’t take me as long as the first ones thankfully.
Adobe XD has more capabilities than I realized. I have previously designed a website and know the general interface of the program, but I’ve not done much of the later stages that get into coding, testing, and UI/UX. So David asked me to build a resume within XD and then later learn how to create an E-Commerce website that works. I’m excited to dive into these XD projects so I can fill out more of my qualifications. I’d also love to help my husband’s company, Advantage Airsoft, to create a functioning website down the road. The company is growing quickly and they haven’t been able to invest in getting a working website up yet. I think it could be a big game-changer for the company.
I learned that Adobe XD can not only design websites and code them for you, but it also has plugins for user testing, wireframing, e-commerce creation, and graphic design. I’m very excited and I’ll share more as I learn more about it.
